an investor want to earn $10,000 in twenty years from now这个条件说明了20年后要赚到10,000。所以FV是10,000,N是20;

assume the interest is 6% constantly.说明I/Y是6;

没有提到PMT,即PMT=0;

最后问的是The amount the investor should invest now,就是求PV的过程。

将上述内容逐项输入计算器第三排中,即可得到N = 20; I/Y = 6; FV = 10,000; PMT = 0; CPT PV = -3,118.05,正负号只代表方向,最后结果取绝对值。
