2.投资期越长，liquidity needs越弱，risk tolerance越强。是否正确
3.mature pension fund的意思是说这个pension fund里cover的大部分都是已经退休的人吗？

这句话斜体加下划线部分不理解，为什么跟invested balance有关呢？
Invested balances就是投资余额，这里其实就是描述的是DC Plan的状态。
Larger proportion的员工是older员工，对应着DC Plan有较高的投资余额（Large invested balances），因为员工工作年限长，已经在DC Plan里已经积攒了很大的余额，同时，由于员工年龄大，则Investment options需要提供较为短期的投资产品（Shorter）来供员工选择
Larger proprotion的员工是Young员工，已缴纳的Contribution较少，于是对应较少的投资余额（Small invested balances），同时，由于员工年轻，离退休较远，Investment options可以提供一些较为长期的投资产品（Longer）来供员工选择。
这是原版书正文的描述，提Invested balances，只是来描述DC Plan与参与员工年龄之间的关系，并没有前后的逻辑推导关系。

对的。
Mature形容的是Pension fund参与者的年龄，More mature就理解成Pension fund参与者的年龄越大。
