correlation是相关系数的意思，即ρ。衡量两个变量同时变化的关系，比如一个增加另一个也同时增加，此时相关系数就为正。

关于相关系数，二级主要考察点为以下两个结论：

①R-squared是真实的Y值（actual value）和Y 的估计值（predicted value of Y）两者的相关系数的平方（本题解题思路）。这个关系在一元和多元回归里都成立。

②而仅在一元回归里，R-squared还等于Y和X的相关系数的平方（本题不涉及）

记忆这两个结论，考试的时候直接选择答案即可。
