In the price-weighted index of index construction methods, how to calcualte the splied stock?
As it showed in the PPT, if $100/share stock was splited as $50/share, then the denominator becomes 1+1+100？ Why not instead of 1+1+1+1?
And also whats the meaning of *3?
Could you explain the entire formular in a much simple way? or examples?
