课上说total firm's assets小于等于composite之和，原因是一个portfolio可能在多个composite里面。但我觉得不一定吧？因为total firm assets还包括non-discretionary portfolio,所以不一定比co mposite之后小？

同学你好，你说的是正确的，这里说的不是特别严谨。
总资产是要包含所有的discretionary and non-discretionary assets的，但是non-discretionary assets是不能包含在composite当中的。
•total firm assets must be the aggregate fair value of all discretionary and non-discretionary assets managed by the firm. this includes both fee-paying and non-fee-paying portfolios.
