这题没明白啊,为什么不可以假设μ0=46370,μa≠46470

同学你好,

题干中说明Lee的看法是“ the mean price of SUV is more than $46,435 in his country”,所以这是他认为正确的结论,也就是说备择假设为Ha:μ>46435,所以原假设就是H0:μ≤46435.

46470是选出来的sample的平均值,也就是X bar的概念,并不是μ的概念。假设检验检验的是总体均值,不是检验样本统计量。

此外这道题其实并不用去考虑原假设和备择假设到底是大于还是小于,只要看到Lee认为 the mean price of SUV is more than $46,435 in his country,就可以确定这是一个单尾检验了,直接选择错误的B即可。
