Misconduct肯定是违反的。

只要是不诚信的行为，都违反Misconduct，如下是Ethics对这点的定义：

must not engage in any professional conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, or deceit or commit any act that reflects adversely on their professional reputation, integrity, or competence.

有Dishonesity/Fraud/Deceit就算是Misconduct。

客户质疑之后，他做了调查，确实是业绩披露错误了，但是这个错误的真实原因是：a human typographical error

是人为打错的原因，导致Improper representation。这个对应原文：Discrepancy—Which was the result of a human typographical error

但是，他在回信中却把原因归咎于：blames the discrepancy on a computer programming error。

把原因归咎于电脑系统Error。

显然，这点是Misconduct，因为是有Dishonesty行为。

只要在解释原因时，说的是正确的原因，就不违反Misconduct。
