老师您好，我还是有点不明白为什么不选B。虽然research cost不计作COGS，但是它会使产品more efficient。我的理解是，more efficiency可以提升产品竞争力，sales 会更高，gross margin / profitability也会更高?

这道题问的是什么会影响公司的毛利率，因为COGS里不包括研发成本，所以这一项不会影响公司的毛利润（收入-COGS=gross profit），因此也就不影响毛利率。而竞争因素对企业的销售收入的影响是最直接的。
