收礼物这块其实是可以按照“职业关系”来区分的。
一个判断标准就是，礼物这里主要看的是：是否会影响到职业上的独立客观性（Independence and objectivity），所以就看礼物是否会从职业上影响到独立客观性。
比如说公司分析师，收到被分析公司的奢侈礼物，即便披露了，那也不能收，因为在第三者眼里会认为影响到了独立客观性，报告是有偏颇的；
但是，如果是Portfolio manager，这种客户的礼物只是为了奖励基金经理获取的收益，那么这种一般不影响独立客观性，因为即便没有这个礼物，Portfolio manager还会为了业绩继续运作自己的基金，这个礼物不会影响基金经理做投资的独立客观性。
但是，此时的礼物就存在Additional compensation一说，以及可能会影响到其他客户的利益。
