老师好，请教下，如果用一种在实务中经常毛估估用的方法来计算，答案是不对，能不能帮忙讲下是哪里不对。

我的方法是：COGS 中占比4%的metal的成本增加了20%，那么总的COGS增加了4%*20%=0.8pct，那么gross profit margin 就下降了0.8pct。

请教下怎么去理解这样做是不对的呢？我错在了哪里呢？

增加的COGS的百分比是增加部分占原有COGS的比利，减少的Gross profit margin的百分比是增加的COGS占原有Sales的比例，这两个比例的分子一样，但是分母不一样，所以COGS上升的百分比并不等于gross profit margin下降的百分比

根据毛利率的公式：gross profit margin=(S-C)/S=1-C/S,毛利率和COGS的变化关系是反向的，而且变化还有一个1/s的系数。简单来说，当COGS上升X,毛利率下降X/S.所以根据你写的COGS增加=0.8%*COGS,那么毛利率就应该下降0.8%*COGS/sales.
