potential GDP增长率(ΔY/Y)取决于技术增长率(ΔA/A)、技术增长率(ΔA/A)、劳动力增长率(ΔL/L)。


在这些数据中,

potential GDP增长率(ΔY/Y)、技术增长率(ΔA/A)、劳动力增长率(ΔL/L),都有统计数据可以直接观察到。

但技术增长率(ΔA/A)很难直接观测。

因此,把potential GDP增长率(ΔY/Y)与技术增长率(ΔA/A)、劳动力增长率(ΔL/L)做回归。回归方程里的残差项,就是技术增长率。
