数量的讲义里sampling error的定义是 the difference between the observed value of a statistic and the quantity it is intend to estimate as a result of using subsets of the population 。
我的理解是sampling error 是样本统计量和实际的population parameter 的误差，上述定义里，between…and…中间的两个词儿，哪个表示sample statistics，哪个表示population parameter，搞不明白。觉得两个讲的都是sample的statistic
