短期利率下降意味着经济活动下降？


经济活动好，消费和投资旺盛，对资金需求旺盛。

同时目前央行一般采取逆周期调节，在经济好的时候，会收紧货币政策，降低货币供应。

商品价格取决于供需，需求好，供应少，商品价格上涨。

同理，利率就是资金的价格，资金需求好，资金供应少，资金利率上涨。


同理：

经济活动差，消费和投资差，对资金需求少。

同时目前央行一般采取逆周期调节，在经济差的时候，会宽松币政策，提高货币供应。

商品价格取决于供需，需求差，供应少多，商品价格下跌。

同理，利率就是资金的价格，资金需求差，资金供应多，资金利率下降。


另外，在利率市场，短期利率的波动性高于长期利率，而且央行也能对短期利率进行控制。所以短期利率总体来说比长期利率更加敏感。短期利率更加反应当下经济活动下降，而长期利率更加反应远期经济预期。
